Alden Phipps is a character and environment artist at Next Level Games, at which he has worked since 2004. Phipps was one of two character artists for Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Blast Ball (alongside Chris Turcotte), and has also designed characters for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Captain America: Super Soldier. Phipps' focus is on 3-D modeling, textures and digital high resolution sculpting.
He designed environments for Super Mario Strikers, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and the unreleased WWE Titans: Parts Unknown.
Phipps previously worked at Electronic Arts and EA Black Box, mostly on racing games. These include NASCAR Thunder 2002 and three Need for Speed titles.
