Aqua Sac

The Aqua Sac is a plantform encountered in Metroid Prime inside the sunken Orpheon.

Aqua Sacs are evolutionary counterparts to Sap Sacs. They exhibit a bluish sap, clustered small sacs as opposed to the single terrestrial Sac, and (as the name implies) an affinity for aquatic environments. These have the same explosive defense mechanism as their relatives, the Sap Sacs, but if the Aqua Sac is ruptured, it will simply burst in a less violent way, only causing the small sacs clustered together to seperate and float away from each other which causes no harm.
