Bladepod

A Bladepod is a type of Ing that doesn't serve a combat role, they are simply a part of Dark Aether's fauna. They are used to storage ammunitions and health items (others which serve the same role are the Ing Spheres and Ing caches) for the Ing forces' personnal use in the war against the Luminoth. It has wrapped its body around an item and has become imobile. It must rely on other Ing to protect it. If Samus defeats it, an item might appear. Like all Ing it is vulnerable to the Light Beam. It can be found in Dark Agon and the Sky Temple Grounds.
