Brian Kowalczyk is a video game animator. He was a contract animator for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption along with Raphael Perkins and Will Bate. All three men graduated from Vancouver Film School, were animators for Duke Nukem Forever, and joined Retro as contract animators. Kowalczyk left Retro Studios in August 2008, a year after the release of Corruption, and joined id Software a month later, where he remains as of 2017. While at id he was a senior animator for the 2016 reboot of Doom.
