Bryyo Fire

Bryyo Fire is a region of Bryyo. It is an important region for the Galactic Federation due to its large fuel gel reserves. After a Leviathan crashed down on the planet, the Federation sent the bounty hunter Rundas to investigate. After losing contact with him, the GF would send in Samus Aran.

Bryyo Fire was a likely temple for the Bryyonians, before it became a Fuel Gel station. Many statues and ornamental displays are littered around the landscape. It is somewhat difficult to determine what was originally made by the Bryyonians and what is Galactic Federation made, due to the same colour of material used. It is likely that the Federation created the pumping machines from local metal ore.

Perhaps both the most notable and most striking features of the Bryyo Fire landscape are the rivers and lakes of hazardous fuel gel. Because of the gel's presence, much of the region is dedicated to harvesting and refining the product for use as starship fuel.

Bryyo Fire contains many winding passages. Warp sites and Portals are found in this region more than any other. One Portal leads to Bryyo Ice, a complete opposite area of Bryyo Fire with icy structures. Some ice appears to be in Bryyo Fire around the portal, it is unknown if this area was investigated by Rundas at some point, though this is likely.

[edit] Wildlife

Allmost all of the local wildlife is Fuel Gel based. Some are able to survive in it, while others actually consume the substance. Reptilicus are common in this area, however no Reptilicus Hunters are ever seen. Due to the introduction of Phazon into the ecosystem thanks to the Leviathan, some of the creatures had become reliant on Phazon instead of Fuel Gel. Gelbugs are common, along with their under developed Shelbug forms. Gel bugs have a diet of both Phazon and Fuel Gel, which fused and created a hard Fuel Gel form of Phazite. Warp Hounds appear in large packs, which is an annoyance. Warp Hounds are also resistant to the Fuel Gel and they are able to produce it as well. Non agressive organisms also appear, the Gel Rays and Scorchbugs. Here is a list of all the creatures that appear in Bryyo Fire:

• Despite being called Bryyo Fire, there is no lava and the area is not remarkably hot. However, if the Fuel Gel is ignited, then there is a stream of fire or an explosion.
• The music heard in Bryyo Fire is a remix of the music heard in Magmoor Caverns. It has been slowed down, and the drum beats and backing choir have been removed. Other sounds have been added.
