Burrowers are small parasite-type creatures that prowl underground. Samus first encounters one in Magmoor Caverns in the Lava Lake. Burrowers fire a acidic spray at Samus. Burrowers can easily noticed by a small moving lump in the ground. In Metroid Prime Pinball, Burrowers are featured in the mini game Burrower Bash.
