A "Carnivorous Plant" is an unused plant organism, depicted only in concept art for Metroid Prime. This concept art appears in Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, and was used on Nintendo.com. Notably, in the former source, it appears on pages referencing the Flaahgra battle. It may represent an early version of Flaahgra's appearance, or a Bloodflower, although its light orange glow would suggest it was intended for the Magmoor Caverns.
