Chief Hardy

Chief Hardy is the chief of the Federation Police found in the Super Metroid Nintendo Power comic series. He is pictured as a short, fat, incompetent black-haired balding mustachioed man who is constantly stuffing his face with a form of sandwiches. His Federation Police force kept its guard down around Planet Zebes and allowed the Zebesian Space Pirates to rebuild their stronghold. His superior is Chairman Keaton who looks down upon him and thinks of him as incompetent. At the end of the series, he is the one who kills the Metroid hatchling with his laser gun.
