Chiharu Sakiyama is a longtime graphic designer at Nintendo, who has created artwork and design for many of its games. Sakiyama joined Nintendo around 2002, the year that Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime were both released, and has been credited in several Metroid games to date, including: graphic design in Fusion, supervisor of the Samus model in Prime, game design in Metroid: Zero Mission, special thanks in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, artwork in Metroid: Other M and illustration in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Some of Sakiyama's non-Metroid credits include WarioWare games, which feature numerous Metroid-themed microgames as both series feature the involvement of Yoshio Sakamoto.
