Chozomecharm is the internal file name in Metroid: Samus Returns for a mechanical arm implicitly created by the Chozo. It is seen in the background of rooms (such as the second and third tower corridors) in Area 3 on SR388, frequently twitching and emitting small bursts of electricity, presumably as a result of neglect. It does not do anything beyond this and its original purpose is unknown. The arms are found exclusively in the background and thus cannot be interacted with or damage Samus.
Similar arms can be seen in the background of Sector 6 (NOC) in Metroid Fusion, in the Repair Bay on the G.F.S. Valhalla in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and on the ceiling of the Spaceport in Metroid: Other M.
