Crawltanks are light defense drones used by the Space Pirates. They can be retrofitted with multiple types of beam weapons, and are able to attach themselves to walls and ceilings. However, they are fragile, and are better suited for patrol and security missions rather than combat missions. They can enter Hyper Mode, making them much more of a threat to those without Phazon enhancement equipment. Crawltanks are often employed alongside the weaker Crawlmines. They appear on almost all areas except for the G.F.S. Valhalla and Phaaze.
