D-Rockets co.,ltd., sometimes called D-Rockets Movie Magic Factory is a Japanese CG animation studio led by Ryuji Kitaura. Kitaura is the executive director, with Ryuichi Snow and Shoko Kitamura serving as VFX and CG directors. D-Rockets was founded in Tokyo on October 7th, 2008. They have long had a partnership with Team Ninja, animating cutscenes for games such as Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. D-Rockets signed on to act as the "third pillar" of Project M, creating the pre-rendered cutscenes for Metroid: Other M on the Wii. This included the flashback of the final battle with Mother Brain in Super Metroid, the scene of Ian Malkovich's death, and MB's revolt against the ringleaders.
