Dark Quad

Dark Quads were corrupted Quad robots, possessed by the Ing. They, like their Aether counterparts, were made up of two parts: the flying Command Module and four-legged Main Body, and these were scannable in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes as two different creatures. Samus Aran can blast off their heads with the Light Beam then deactivate the body with Boost Ball. The dominant Darkling resides in the Command Module, therefore forces the lesser Ing in the Main Body to do its bidding. The Emperor liked to use these robots as guards in the Ing Hive.
