Galactic Federation Naval Base Demeter

The Galactic Federation Naval Base Demeter is a Galactic Federation Fleet base in which Aurora Unit 217 was originally stationed, before being transferred to SkyTown. It was mentioned in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The location, inhabitants or other information about this base is unknown.

• Interestingly, the God Ceres was often seen as the equivalent of Demeter. Another location in the Metroid Series, called the Ceres Space Station was named after him. Naval Base Demeter and Ceres Space Station may have some relation for this reason.
