Abandoned Worksite

The Abandoned Worksite is a room in the Torvus Bog. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is a mainly expansive room that, upon entry, features a tunnel in the wall that can be traversed with the Morph Ball, to reach another tunnel bringing Samus to another area blocked off by gates and trees.

The Dark Aether version of this room was the Brooding Ground.

2 Sporbs: "Morphology: Sporb; Lurking carnivorous plant.; Fires poisoned needles in battle. Can grip small objects in its jaws."

Missile Expansion: In the second area, when Samus has the Grapple Beam, she must swing over to a ledge containing the expansion. Alternatively, the Screw Attack can also be used to reach the ledge instead.

Trivia[]

In the Gamecube version, a BSJ can also be used to acquire the missile Expansion early.
