Beam Ammo Expansions allow Samus to carry 50 more units of Beam Ammo for the three Ammunition Beams in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: the Dark Beam, Light Beam, and Annihilator Beam. There are four of these to collect in Echoes, bringing the maximum ammunition for the Beams up to 250 units.
A similar item appears in Metroid Prime: Hunters, the Universal Ammunition Expansion, which increases the Universal Ammunition for most weapons in the game.
