Ilya Nazarov is an artist who worked with Retro Studios. He worked on Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and its New Play Control! port, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and New Play Control! Metroid Prime. He has created environments, characters, concept art, and user interfaces.

In Hunters he created the cinematic model for Kanden.

In Echoes

Though credited for Echoes, his works are not currently known.

In Corruption

His works in Corruption include the Chozo Observatory, Aurora Access on the G.F.S. Olympus, the Nova Beam room and the Logbook. He created various concept arts, and the Metroid Hatcher.

Trivia

• He was mistakenly credited as "Ilva Nazarov" in Corruption.

• Based on this, it appears that the Ylla/Vlla "mistake" may have been a universal translation error.
