Research Pod Lift is a room in Eastern SkyTown on Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Description[]

This room primarily consists of two levels separated by an elevator. A door with a locking mechanism guards the elevator, and all locks must be activated simultaneously before the elevator may be accessed. The room is filled with many brittle husks of Space Pirate bodies.

The room's internal name is 0g_skytown_metroids, referencing the Phazon Metroids that appear here later. The keyword skytown indicates Skytown, Elysia, and the prefix 0g indicates that this is the seventh of 9 sets of junction room throughout the planet.
