Galactic Federation Crates are used by the Federation to hold resources. Many were taken to planet Aether during the Aether incident They can be destroyed by a series of shots or a single charged beam shot. They are extremely common and usually hold Phazon energy units or Missiles. In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these crates may contain Ship Missiles.
