The Game Boy Advance SP (ゲームボーイアドバンスSP Gēmu Bōi Adobansu Essu Pī) is a variant of the Game Boy Advance console and plays the same software, but has a clam-shell design and back-lit screens. A GBA SP showing the Samus Aran Ruins Test drawing on it and with Samus's colors was given away as part of a speedrun contest on the Metroid Zero Mission Official Site. The SP was the grand prize (for the winner, who beat Zero Mission with a record of 28:09 and few items), while lesser prizes were a flyer signed by Chisato Morishita, a standee of Morishita, and a Zero Mission shirt also available through Nintendo Power. In the House M.D. episode "Occam's Razor", House can be seen playing Zero Mission on an SP several times.
