Generator Room

The group enters the room.

The Generator Room was a room seen only in Metroid Prime: Episode of Aether, in the Galactic Federation compound.

Initially, it is without power, and Samus Aran, accompanied by Klaus Schneider, Miguel Luis Garcia, Lily Thran and Jeff McCloud, attempts to restore the power. They are shocked to find several dead Federation Marine bodies. The catch with these bodies is, they have no visible wounds, and even have a pulse. In a way, they are alive. However, the black fog has possessed them, and as such they are now Dark Troopers. Against everyone's wishes, Samus kills all of them, before Jeff restores power to the room. Lily then reveals a Dark Portal that nearly sucks her in, but Samus allows herself to be thrown into the rift while Lily and the others make it to safety.

Samus ends up in a parallel dimension to the Generator Room, and is where she first encounters Dark Samus.
