The Gravity Chamber is a room in Phendrana Drifts in Metroid Prime. It contains the Gravity Suit like the name suggests. There is a large pool of water that encompasses most of the room. There are two different places in the room where some Jelzaps and Aqua Reapers can be found. When Samus first enters the room, she must navigate it in order to get the Gravity Suit and reach higher ledges.

Scans
Edit
- Stalactites
- "The ice of this stalactite contains many different types of mineral deposits. One of the minerals detected in the ice structure appears to be a volatile form of volcanic rock. This rock makes the formation incredibly strong against tremors and concussive blasts, but it will become unstable if heat is introduced."
- Missile Expansion
- "This item rests on a ledge that appears to be too high to access by jumping."
Trivia
Edit
- There is a strange ice formation in the submerged part of the room in which two angler-like fish can be found.
- There are couple of cracks in the bottom of the chamber near where the aqua reapers live. Heat can be seen inside these cracks, possibly coming from the Magmoor Caverns.
- For an unexplained reason, the Grapple Point covered by the ice in the Gravity Chamber will cease to function later on in the game, but only if the ice is destroyed by the Plasma Beam. This can make it impossible for Samus to acquire 100%.
