Harmony Class Drone

In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the Harmony-Class Drone is a light cleaning and service drone that functions using small pulses of electricity. It was designed by the Luminoth to clean organic matter from their tunnels and homes. However, a programming fault causes all of them to treat any living matter as filth, which leads them to attack organisms that enter their designated cleaning area. However, their cleaning apparati are only a small threat to sentients. When killed in Dark Aether they leave behind a small area of light that will fade after a certain amount of time.

The Harmony-Class Drone is similar in form and function to the Pulse Bombu of Tallon IV, and was probably created to emulate it. It is likely that the Luminoth had seen Pulse Bombu during their encounters with the Chozo, who were native to Tallon IV. The Harmony-Class Drone was succeeded by the Diligence Class Drone in tight areas.
