Ice Connect (as named internally) is an ambient theme in Metroid Prime. It was composed by Kenji Yamamoto. It is one of the few Prime tracks to not be included on the Metroid Prime & Fusion Original Soundtracks.
It plays in select rooms of the Phendrana Drifts as opposed to the general or "battle" theme. It is much slower than either, cutting out most of the instruments, apart from the chimes and wind effects. This ambience can first be heard in the Shoreline Entrance, and later in Quarantine Access, the Chapel of the Elders, Ice Ruins Access, Quarantine Cave, Temple Entryway and Transport Access.
