UMS 11 is a presumed Federation official that only appears in Metroid Fusion. He or she can be seen in two cutscenes: one is an easter egg and the other occurs after Samus leaves Sector 3 for the first time and talks about a plan of some sort in the Navigation Room. In the canonical cutscene, the character speaks to Adam alone. In the easter egg cutscene, often called the Secret Message, the same mysterious figure suggests that Adam reward Samus for taking advantage of a difficult sequence break by telling her about the Federation's secret Metroid breeding program, an idea the computer rejects.

IdentityEdit

All that is known about this individual is that he or she works for the Galactic Federation. The individual's face cannot be made out from the given image, but appears to be humanoid, with short hair. All that is known of the figure's rank is that (s)he is high enough to be informed of the secret projects at the Biologic Space Laboratories research station. The figure appears to be dressed in something closely resembling a business suit, with two lighter bars on the lapels. These bars could indicate that the suit is in fact part of a military uniform similar to The Colonel's, minus the overcoat.
