Isao Hirano is a Japanese programmer and former employee of Nintendo, working there from 1990 to 2006. He was a programmer for Metroid II: Return of Samus, and an enemy designer for Metroid Fusion. He was also a designer for Wario Land 3 and 4. Hacking of the Super Metroid credits revealed that he was credited at one point, but removed for unknown reasons. His exact role with the project is also unknown, though it likely would have been in a programming or debugging capacity.
