I was lucky enough to join Retro Studios in 2001, just as development on Metroid Prime was ramping up. As a level designer it was an exciting opportunity to discover how to best transform a beloved franchise into a new genre. And as a young designer, it was incredible to be able to learn directly from the talented staff at Nintendo, who were and still are heroes to me.

Jason Behr

Jason Behr is an American video game designer that was employed at Retro Studios for the duration of the Prime Series. He was a designer for Metroid Prime, a senior designer for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and was credited under additional thanks in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.[1] Behr has also been employed as a designer at Acclaim (Turok: Rage Wars), a senior designer at Nintendo Software Technology, and senior mission designer at 343 Industries (Halo 4). He is currently working at his own studio, Sunbreak Games in the Pacific Northwest. They developed Buddy & Me, a mobile game that was later ported to the eShop on the Wii U.[2]

PFC X. Dominguez was named J. Behr in an unused Logbook entry found in the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc data, likely named after the designer Behr.
