Kalinda Raina is a privacy lawyer and the first chief privacy officer at Nintendo of America from 2009-2012. She was previously associate counsel for privacy at NOA from 2006-2009. Raina built and led the company's privacy policies and practices worldwide, and helped to develop the Wii's parental control system in compliance with COPPA. She also worked with engineering teams to install protections into Nintendo's games and ensure that Nintendo complied with HIPAA, CAN-SPAM and various other privacy laws. Raina is credited under special thanks in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and NOA Legal in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. After leaving Nintendo, she worked as the head of privacy and policy at Apple for four years. She is now the head of global privacy at LinkedIn.
