Kenji Nishizawa

Kenji Nishizawa (born 1960 in Kyoto, Japan)[1] is an employee of Nintendo. Nishizawa graduated from the University of Kyoto and joined Nintendo in 1982, working as a programmer for R&D1. Nishizawa was a debugger for Metroid II: Return of Samus and assisted in development of the password system for Metroid. In the latter, he is credited under special thanks as Ken Zuri, which was his nickname at the time. In recent years, Nishizawa has taken on support and coordination roles in video games. He held a management position in Marigul Management, a now defunct Nintendo subsidiary, from 1999-2001. Nishizawa's most recent credit is in Star Fox 64 3D, under technical support.[2]
