The second room of SkyTown is the Main Docking Access. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Description[]

In it lies a Chozo Elder statue entangled in Phazon vines with its right arm extended for Samus Aran to lie in while in Morph Ball form. Once atop the statue's hand, barrier that was in front of the statue retracts. When a Morph Ball Bomb is deployed, the statue attempts to move, but fails. In order to clear the statue's path of its Phazon vine obstructions, the Hyper Ball must be performed. After the Phazon vines are removed, the statue retreats downward in a spiraling motion. Once the statue has been removed, two ornamental frames are revealed, hanging between two Grapple Swing Points and obstructing the path. Once destroyed, Samus can grapple across to solid ground with five SkyTown Storage Units along the walls. At the southern-most part of the room lies a SkyTown Blue Door leading to Zipline Station Alpha. "Dragoon" Battle Drones will appear if later revisited.

The Elder statue was designed by Matt Manchester.[1]
