Metroid II: Return of Samus

"Metroid... Omoroido!" (or Metoroido... Omoroido!) is an infamous phrase spoken the end of the Japanese Metroid II: Return of Samus commercial, by its narrator. The phrase translates to "Metroid is fun!". Omoroido is a play on the Japanese word "omoroi", which means fun or exciting. 15 years later, the phrase was again used in a secret message in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption by Yoshio Sakamoto. Sakamoto speaks the phrase at the end of his message after asking players to anticipate the next Metroid. Sakamoto's message can be heard here: [1] Three years after that, the phrase was again heard at the end of the Japanese Metroid: Other M commercial. Both commercials use the same font for the words. The Japanese version of the Overview Trailer for Metroid: Samus Returns (a remake of Metroid II) features the phrase again, with a new font.
