Metroid.com is the official site for the Metroid games. It previously held links to the Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime Pinball, Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption sites. The background music was the Save Station music heard in Corruption.

Currently, Metroid.com redirects to http://metroidprime.nintendo.com/

The Prime website featured the Angstrom Analogue Radio Mapping Array.

Metroid.jpEdit

Metroid japanese website

The Metroid.jp website.

Metroid.jp is the official Japanese site for Metroid. Again as with Metroid.com it appears to have dropped the links to the 2D Metroid titles. Now the website contains three images of the Prime trilogy, and does not have Hunters or Pinball. Instead the website features the New Play Control! Metroid games and Corruption. However for all three there is a description link to tell Samus' tale in each game. Below each link is another link to the game website. Finally this page features the Another Side Story teaser, which has lead to large fan speculation. The pages are in Japanese, and as of May 2011, have been translated by the Metroid Database.

Currently, Metroid.jp is promoting Other M as well, and was updated on January 29, 2010, to feature an image from the trailer and have Piece of piano music playing. The website is now featuring remixes of the Super Metroid title theme and the song Theme of Samus Aran, Space Warrior, which were composed by Kuniaki Haishima.
