Michael Cheng is a video game designer currently employed as a consultant at Triple Jump, Inc. From August 2003-May 2005, Cheng was a level designer for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes at Retro Studios. Cheng has subsequently worked at Sony, LucasArts, Electronic Arts and Avalanche Studios on the God of War series, Dante's Inferno and Just Cause 3.
In the data of the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc, there is a Logbook entry for a PFC M. Cheng, which is likely a reference to Michael Cheng. The character was renamed PFC M. Veroni in the final game.
