Mount Pagos is an inactive volcano seen in Samus and Joey. In chapter 4, Joey leads the Megaroids away from the village of Liberty to Mount Pagos in the hopes of causing them to fall into the lava and die. Joey tumbles into the volcano upon reaching the top, and becomes angry at his grandfather for lying about the state of the volcano. The Megaroids begin to close in when Samus intervenes, planting a Power Bomb in the center of the volcano and firing a Super Missile into the epicentre, reawakening the volcano and destroying the Megaroids permanently.
