Music Mines Dark (as named internally) is an ambience in Metroid Prime. It is heard only once, in the Elite Quarters room prior to the battle with the Omega Pirate. The theme features "raindrop" and electrical sound effects shared with Phazon and the Phazon Area theme, and while calm in tone is quite eerie, considering the boss that Samus is about to face. It was composed by Kenji Yamamoto, and is one of the few themes from Prime that is not included in the Metroid Prime & Fusion Original Soundtracks.
