The Particle Cannon is a beam weapon utilized by all Pirate Aerotroopers in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The devices fire blue-colored beams, not dissimilar to the Hyper Beam, and are affixed to one of the trooper's Remote Attack Pods. Gandrayda wields a variation of the Particle Cannon in her Aerotrooper-G form: the beam is now purple and electrocutes Samus.
