The
Phazon Elite is one of four mini bosses in
Phazon Mines in
Metroid Prime. He is the first experiment with
Phazon the
Space Pirates use. The player only faces him once, so it is best to
scan him first. He guards one of the
Chozo Artifacts found in Phazon Mines; the
Artifact of Warrior; which you need to get to the Impact Crater at the end of the game. Unlike the
Elite and
Omega Pirates, the Phazon Elite does not wield a plasma artillery cannon, but still has the Energy Siphon used by all Elite Pirates, as well as the Wave Quake Generators. The Phazon Elite appears moreso infused with Phazon than any other Elite Pirate, with sickly Phazon plates and veins all over his body.
