Phil Sandhop is an American product analyst, software tester and localization producer who worked at Nintendo from 1987 to 2004. He played a role in the localization of Metroid II: Return of Samus. Sandhop is best known for being the localization producer and scriptwriter for the unreleased English version of Mother, which was later released unofficially as EarthBound Zero, and officially as EarthBound Beginnings. Today, Sandhop is an IT coordinator at Van Doren Sales in the Greater Seattle Area.
