Profane Path

Profane Path is a room in the Sky Temple Grounds in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, accessible once Samus has the Space Jump Boots. Several Bladepods can be found here, as well as a Beam Ammo Expansion, attainable by disabling a sonic lock system.

The Aetherian version of this room is the Sacred Path and a Portal between the two can be used.

Beam Ammo Expansion: Requires Annihilator Beam and Echo Visor.
Open the Echo Gate by using the correct code on the Echo Key Beam systems.

Portal (inactive): "This rift portal is inactive.; The portal field can be energized with light energy. Walk into an energized portal to transport to Aether."

Portal (active): "This portal is active.; Walk into the portal to initiate return transit to Aether."

Bladepod: "Morphology: Bladepod
Living storage units of the Ing Horde.
These Ing morph their bodies around useful items to protect them. They rely on larger Ing for protection."

Echo Key Beam system: "Object scan complete.
This is an Echo Key Beam system.
Sonic detection gear needed to interface with this system. Shoot the Echo Key Beam emitter with a sonic pulse to activate it. It will then fire a blast of focused sound at an Echo Gate lock."

Echo Gate: "Object scan complete.
This Echo Gate uses a sonic security system.
Sonic detection gear needed to interface with this system. Shoot the Echo Gate with a sonic pulse to learn the combination of its sonic locks. Unlock the locks in this sequence to advance."

Beam Ammo Expansion: "Beam Ammo Expansion; "Increases the amount of Light and Dark Ammo you can carry."
