Record of Samus is the name of the theme that plays on the Mission Final screen in Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Prime Pinball and Metroid: Samus Returns. It is a remix of the first Tallon Overworld theme, which in turn was an arrangement of the famous Brinstar theme from the original Metroid. The version in the core three Prime games is the same, while the other three games feature remixes.

Record of Samus is used in the E3 2007 trailer for Corruption, played over in-game music and sound effects.[1]

In Hunters, Record of Samus is the third theme in the Sound Test, and referred to as Results in the game's BGMSELECTLIST.DAT file. The Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc has a more uplifting variant for when the demo of Echoes is complete. It can be heard here: [2]

The Samus Returns version was first featured in the Overview Trailer as the narrator discusses the game's amiibo functionality. As with the Prime games, it plays on the ending screen. This is the first non-Metroid Prime game to include the theme. In the internal files, the theme is named Matad Result; this is a reference to the development codename of Samus Returns, Project Matadora. In the Sound Test, it is titled End Results.

The theme from Prime, Echoes and Corruption can be heard here: [3], the theme from Hunters here: [4], the theme from Pinball here: [5] and the theme from Samus Returns here: [6].
