Samus-G refers to Gandrayda mimicking Samus Aran in her Varia Suit. It is witnessed during her battle and first appearance in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The mimic is first encountered in the Ready Room, as Samus walks in with Gandrayda masquerading as her, but reverts to her regular form when Fleet Admiral Castor Dane yells "Gandrayda! Enough!".
Later, Gandrayda assumes Samus's form during the battle against her on the Pirate Homeworld. When Gandrayda's health is halved, she will pump and charge electricity along her fist (which causes four pillars to raise in the battlefield), run, do a cartwheel and then become Samus-G, running a bit more before aiming her Arm Cannon at the real Samus. During this form's battle, her attacks are heavily similar to the Dark Samus battles from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Samus-G uses the Boost Ball to charge all around the arena, bouncing off surfaces before unmorphing (an attack also similar to the Boost Guardian from Echoes. She is said to wield the Power Beam, but it is actually a purple laser beam, fired while remaining idle or after an unmorph, and in a large horizontal stream. At times usually when the real Samus is close, Samus-G unleashes a short repelling shockwave.
The last time Samus-G is seen is during Gandrayda's death, when the last form she takes before being absorbed by Dark Samus is the PED Suit (something she had not copied before), in which she reaches out to the real Samus.

Trivia[]
- The beam attack used by Gandrayda is strikingly similar to the Zero Laser, Samus's Final Smash in the Super Smash Bros. series. Although Gandrayda becomes very exhausted after using the beam, it does not cause her to become a "Zero Suit Samus-G" (as the Zero Laser does in Super Smash Bros. Brawl).
- Samus-G is one of several copies of Samus, with the others being Battle Simulation 'Samus Aran', the green holographic projection in Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt, "NSamus", Dark Samus and the SA-X.
- If Samus is still in Hypermode at the end of the battle, Samus-G will be as well.
- Gandrayda's movement animations in her Samus-G form are quite similar to the movement animations used for players in the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Multiplayer mode.
