Satoshi Matsumura is a programmer, technical supporter, coordinator and tester at Nintendo. Matsumura has not been credited in a game since 2003, suggesting he is no longer with the company.[1] During his time at Nintendo, from 1988 to 2003, Matsumura programmed several games. In Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, he is credited as special thanks; he likely contributed to or consulted on the programming of the games.

Matsumura filed a patent in the late 90s with Masafumi Sakashita and Yoshihiro Taki.[2]
