Scott Bassett

Scott Bassett is a former lead software engineer at Nintendo Software Technology. Working there from 1998-2007, Bassett engineered several games, including the infamously cancelled Project H.A.M.M.E.R. He was also a programmer for Metroid Prime Hunters. Like many of his fellow NST employees, Bassett studied at the DigiPen Institute of Technology. He returned there to teach for a year after departing Nintendo, and subsequently worked at Microsoft, iNiS, Apple and Oculus VR. Bassett is currently the software engineering manager at Unity Technologies, and leads the VR/AR/MR graphics team.
