The Skytram.
The Skytram is a large, high-speed, cage-like tram that serves as a mode of transport between East and West SkyTown on Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It has not been used for some time, and requires the use of the Boost Ball to reactivate it. The Tram is spherical in appearance and is connected to a rail similar to the Ziplines in other parts of SkyTown. There is only one in the game, but it is probable that there are more in the unexplorable parts of SkyTown seen in the background. The journey between each sector takes about fifteen seconds.
