Storage units are indestructible crates found on the Pirate Homeworld in only two rooms, the Proving Grounds Lift and Phazon Quarry, and in the Temple of Bryyo. Their indestructibility comes from unknown alloys in its plating. They appear as black jar-like boxes with an orange cap. What they contain is unknown. Samus is unable to destroy them. The units in the Temple of Bryyo are much larger.
