[edit] Plot

Similir to the plot of the Super Nintendo game, the comic chronicled Samus Aran's mission to Zebes to retrieve the Metroid hatchling stolen by the Space Pirate general, Ridley. However, the plot of the comic varies in several different ways from the game. For one, she is accompinied by Galactic Federation bounty hunter Armstrong Houston. The comic focuses much on the Federation elements, as it also chronicles the adventures of Galactic Federation Chairman Keaton and Federation Police Chief Hardy. After sustaining heavy wounds on Zebes, Samus visits a mysterious planet where she finds Old Bird, who uses a risky technique to fix her Power Suit. Also, Ridley escapes in the comic, the Metroid Hatchling is killed by Keaton and Hardy instead of the Mother Brain and Kraid is never mentioned.
