Swarmbot

Swarmbots are SkyTown drones. They travel in groups, and can dodge some attacks. They attack by firing energy pulses to damage or disrupt the target. If they survive Samus's attacks, they will try to do a suicide run.

Helios commands a large swarm of them. He uses them for both offense and defense as he can shape them into any form he desires. This swarm is corrupted by Phazon but is unscannable. Gandrayda can turn into a swarm of them during her battle and rushes at Samus to hurt her.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: "Swarmbots tend to travel in groups. They can evade many inbound attacks, and can perform aerial maneuvers that make them nearly impossible to damage. They can generate pulses of energy to damage or disrupt enemy targets. As a desperate measure, they will perform suicide runs on an enemy."
