Takahiro Harada

Takahiro Harada is a Japanese programmer and developer, who has worked for Nintendo, specifically, R&D1, since 1986. He has contributed programming to several Nintendo titles, many of them on the Game Boy. Harada is best known for planning and programming the Dr. Mario games on the Game Boy and NES. Harada has also supervised games such as Sin and Punishment and True Swing Golf.

Harada has contributed to many Metroid games as well. He is credited under special thanks Metroid, Super Metroid and Metroid Prime, was the main programmer of Metroid II: Return of Samus, and was involved in tool programming and coordination for Metroid Fusion and Metroid: Zero Mission.
