Who are Elysians[]
Is there any concrete proof whether or not the tinbots, steamlords, etc (not including the repair drones and small drones whatnot) are the actual Elysians? One of the arguments that turns down the idea of them being THE Elysians says that they're not sentient. I think the reason behind their seemingly mindless movements is the phazon corruption brought onto them by the space pirates and the Leviathan that crash landed (if i remember clearly, one of these robot enemies can later on use hyper mode). One of Elysia's lore makes a reference to them falling to the corruption.
Another argument says that none of these robots are explicitly named Elysians in their logbook scans. Well, they don't need to be named Elysians just to confirm them as the intelligent robot race. Look at the reptilicus for example, none of them are explicitly called Bryyonians right?
It just doesn't make sense that the sentient robots were ALL wiped out from Skytown after spending a relatively short time with the leviathan (compared to the other planets were no species had become extinct even after spending a longer amount of time with their respective leviathans).
I'd like to hear your comments on this.
- As far as I know, there is no absolute proof that the tinbots and such are the actual Elysians. I agree with your arguements, and I do believe that the robots seen in-game are the Elysians. You might have to do some research (it's amazing what you can find out just by scanning stuff) on this and see what comes up.
