[edit] Non-Chozo Technology?

Could it be possible that Missiles aren't originally Chozo technology, and that they might be of Galactic Federation origin? I won't go that far, but I'm proposing that perhaps several different cultures (such as Luminoth, GF, Chozo) all developed their own rocket-propelled ballistic systems, and they all happen to be compatible with Samus's Power Suit. In the early events of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Samus receives the missile launcher from a GF weapons container. (And it was identical to Missile expansions found throughout Tallon IV)
